Kayla McClellan (they/she) is an international multidisciplinary artist and researcher from Florida. They received their BFA Dance degree from Florida State University (2017) and her MFA Dance Science degree from London’s Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance (2019). Kayla recently choreographed music artist ELDR's music video for her new track, Friends. She has facilitated Arts and Health workshops to organizations such as RCPysch and the NHS, led workshops on decentring the cis-heteronormative lens in dance fields to institutions such as Trinity Laban, and performed in works such as Jack the Lass Theatre Company's debut play 'Kiss Her' as part of the Camden Fringe Festival. As a choreographer, certified Double Skin/Double Mind (DS/DM) instructor, and certified Pilates instructor, Kayla centers the physical and mental well-being of those who engage with their practices. Kayla ultimately desires to serve whatever community they reside in by connecting with individuals through her artistic practice and research.
